Our name, Jaiwai, reflects our heritage — taken from the owner's generational last name. In Thai, “Jai” means heart and “Wai” means movement, a perfect symbol of our passion for sharing soulful, homemade Thai dishes with our community.
Our roots trace back to northern Thailand, and we’re proud to bring regional flavors to your table — especially our signature dish, Chicken Khao Soi. This northern Thai favorite features a rich, creamy coconut curry broth, tender chicken, egg noodles, pickled mustard greens, shallots, lime, and crispy noodles on top — a comforting, flavorful bowl that feels like home in every bite.

Thai food is my favorite kind of food! This restaurant is one of the few in the area to serve delicious Thai food. I get everything from the Basil fried rice, Yellow Curry, pad Thai, Pad See Ew , Pad ka Mao; all very delightful and yummy. They have been open for over a decade maybe two! I’ve been coming here since my high school days and college days when I came home to visit my family. This is a hard working family business. The server in the front has greeted me every time I order, super friendly. Always support your local family businesses!

I’ve dined-in and gotten takeout here for years but have admittedly been horrible at leaving reviews. But I’m a realtor now and have a newfound understanding of the importance, so I’m sitting in JaiWai for dinner as I write this review. This is a great little underrated Thai place on the Georgetown square. Location is perfect for a meal before or after walking around and checking out all the shops. My go-tos are the basil fried rice, prik king, pad kee mao, and yellow curry. I get everything spice level 5 and have never been disappointed in flavor, portion, or presentation. If you enjoy Thai food, definitely check it out!

This place is bussssssin’!!! It’s soooo good. It’s my first time ever having it. I got the Tom Som (soup with beef) and level 3 spice. The flavors were sooooo good and it was spiiiiiicy. So good. Definitely will come back.
